Default 98o, BB special

Villan is 33/12/1.2 after about 100 hands. My notes on him say he's very turn/river aggressive. He also goes to the SD (44%) way too often and wins only half of what he shows down. Also he plays about half his SB hands.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: (3 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button folds, SB calls.

Turn: (2.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero calls.

River: (6.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero ?!?!?

On the river I obviously hated my play on the turn. Thoughts, comments, criticisms welcome.

3-bet the turn and hope he caps. You said he has high went to SD numbers so he's probably not going away. Save these plays for good players capable of folding.

Yes, the turn should have been 3 bet. As it turned out, you probably saved a BB. Doubtful villain is going to fold immediately to your turn 3 bet. Either he was going to cap or call most likely. River is just an unfortunate card. I think you have to make the call though, villain could have been betting the flush draw. He probably had the 7, but that's poker.

I'm responding blind.

I would have 3-bet the turn. I don't really like waiting until the river to raise again here.

The river card sucks, but I would curse and call.
