Default A couple of AK hands

The vilain just confused me on this hand. I think I played it pretty badly though, especially on the river.

On this one do you raise the river?

*grunch*

Without reads:

Hand 1: Just call the river bet. With villian open betting every street, he must have something "decent".

Hand 2: Looks good

Hand 1:

Confusing indeed, any reads on him would help. I think you played it correct if you don't have any yet. Call the 3-bet, you have to know what he has imo.

edit: Arcturus has a good point. Out of curiousity, what did he have?

Hand 2:

Seems fine to me.

can't comment without reads. folding could be correct, calling could be correct, raising could be correct.

sorry bro, i really think we're shooting in the wind trying to guess in these situations.

default line
hand #1: no point in the river raise once MP2 stops donating.

hand #2: i guess it depends if SB donkbets 2nd pair into a preflop raiser. you just counterfeited his A4 or AT, so sure raise the river.

Grunch:

Hand 1: The river lead from SB usually freezes me enough where I just call the bet. I think SB has a big hand and was wanting to keep MP2 around the whole time.

Hand 2: fine.
