i would call unless my game plan for the night was to play real tight and fold blinds a la tommy a.

since you know his hand, you can outplay him, and then, as a result, sometimes yourself, post-flop. . .

Since I would call when I don't know his hand, it's an easier call knowing his hand particularly if he (like most sane players) would fold on the turn if you put some heat on him when there are two face cards or something on the board. Of course, you have got other players to worry about but their actions on the flop should tell you whether they are on a draw, have a good hand etc. No matter how you slice it, it's quite the advantage to know the hand of any player and in particular the preflop raiser.

If he showed AA, then it might be a very tough call as there is now little chance that you can bully him postflop. Maybe, you still call on the possibility of flopping big and being in prime checkraising position...I dunno.

Welcome back, friend.

How's he gonna bully him out of position with two more guys behind?

If you would call without knowing his hand, then you should call knowing it, I agree. I am curious why you would call an UTG raise and 2-cold calls, though, with 3 high.

Regards,
Andy

Folding 3-2 would be playing real tight?
