MP3 is 60/15/1 after 90 hands or so.
MP2 is a 14/6/1.5 TAG after over 300 hands, basically playing your regular ABC poker game. UTG1 is a complete moran. PokerRoom 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] . 1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls. Flop: (17 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, UTG+1 bets, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero raises, SB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 3-bets, MP3 calls, Hero calls, SB folds, UTG+1 calls. This flop doesn't really scare me at all, other than the flush draw. Highly likely that UTG+1 is trying to take down the big pot with the flop bet, I don't believe he has any hand here(I repear from earlier, this guy is a complete fool). I have hard time putting MP2 on a five here as tight as he is, I believe he's pumping up his ace high flush draw, I call planning to raise a non-spade turn. Turn: (15.50 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) UTG+1 checks, MP2 bets, MP3 calls, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls. Got the non-spade turn I was looking for, and I raise as planned. River: (23.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls. I have to bet for value here, right? Final Pot: 27.50 BB |

Looks good.
One thing to consider is that it would be unfortunate if MP2 didn't bet the turn. But he did. |

standard... nice hand. you win this 99% of the time given your reads.
may end up with something like... MP2 shows AJ MP3 shows AK UTG1 shows 77 |

Your post should have ended "Hero bets..." when you put in the information that everyone called and no one raised, you may taint the responses, as it makes it clear that at least in this hand, betting is correct.
Good luck. Eric |

This isn't the 2/4 at pokerroom I remember, it always like this? Coldcallers on the turn is so rad.

I agree with everyone saying the flop check-3 bet from MP2 looks like a flush draw, but doesn't the turn bet look a lot stronger? A turn bet's not for value and doesn't seem to increase his chance of winning much, so I'd expect, given the read, that he wouldn't bet here. I suppose he could be trying to disguise his hand (and it appears it would work against me ), but I think a made hand here is more likely.
That being said, I still like the turn raise as the other opponents here are giving you some overlay and he probably has A5 or AJ (KJs/QJs/TJs perhaps) given the read and action. |
