Default KK on dangerous board

Opponents slightly too loose. Not way out of line though.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, 1 fold.

Flop: (11 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP raises, CO folds, Button calls, SB calls, Hero...

Where do we go from here? /v

Seems like a calldown to me, QJ in here is very possible but Button calling cold means he probably has an OESD or a made straight, you might be beat or your opponent might have enough combined outs to kick your butt but they also might not.

Anyone else see a calldown here ?

no point 3betting here, our equity isnt great imo.

Id call and gay bet a good turn or maybe C/R but i dont want to give a free card on the turn and being 3bet would suck.

That's a huge field. I'm uneasy about reraising in these spots when the turn can make or break you.

I think the point was that with the huge field, there's value to 3 betting. Is your PE greater then 20% here? Do we really worry that bloating the pot will keep people around with hands you might wish them to fold on the turn since they are all calling anyway?

Nothing keeps you from shutting down if a wretched card like a red 7 comes on the turn...

I will shut down and likely fold if a turn card like the 7h shows up and there is significant action afterwards.

If we have PE here with this field and board it's only a slight edge and not enough to warrant a raise. I don't have pokerstove with me right now, so I can be wrong math/stat wise. I'm more for waiting until our PE is greater--which hinges on the turn-- before I start chucking more chips.
