[/ QUOTE ] U can find Chinese Poker Mandarin Style (which means pure gambOOling) at Commerce for $5/point. Its a brutal game, I wouldn't play it there again. The other games are mostly played in rotation I'm afraid, although you can get a game in some private rooms in where I live if you have a friend. I think Tunica spreads PLO8 with reasonable buyins. I'd investigate if I were you. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

Re: Weird Games
Casino Arizona (CA) runs a mixed 75/150 limit game most nights that will play most all of your games. They however refuse to deal padougi. On the nights that CA is not hosting the game, it moves to Fort McDowell, which will deal just about anything, including padougi.

Re: Weird Games
By low/mid limits, I meant lower than 40-80. Would that I could play in the casino Arizona game, but I can't. Also, Padougi is aka badouigi and is spelled a hundred different ways. It's basically 4 card triple draw lowball. Anything on TD specifically?

Re: Weird Games
If you are in the area... then from time to time, we get a good mixed game or dealers choice (whoever has the button calls the game) going late night on the weekends at the Fort. It will generally start as the 4/8 O8 game (the dealers love this game for the action) or the 2-150 LHE game.
Fridays and Saturdays late (after midnight) are the best times, generally if there are enough dealers off and playing we can get one going. It is best when it is 4-6 dealers and one or two regulars on the 2-150... What a freaken blast to play mixed with the big spread limit! |

Re: Weird Games
If you hang around the big festivals, these games are spread often.
Bellagio sometimes has Razz. It's usually filled with good players. The Fort has mixed games about three times per week (Mon/Thurs/Fri). The limits are 15/30, 20/40 or 30/60, depending on what they decide. Call first, it doesn't always go. They have a great mix of games, including split games with NO QUALIFIER! Some of them don't seem to know not to play high, and will always play their high hands all the way to showdown. I don't need to say that this is a goldmine. Re: Weird Games
Many Vegas casinos will take an interest list for just about anything. I was extremely surprised the last time i was at MGM to look up and see an interest list for 3/6 HORSE with 3 people on it. The game never got going, but one of the dealers said it used to get going once a week or so.
Thus, my new resolution is to always start a HORSE interest list whenever i go to MGM (though i'd rather play 2/4 since i suck at poker, but also especially at razz). Anyway, your local casino may be willing to acommodate you if you can find enough people to fill a table. |
