first PT hand import taking forever
when I start my autoimporting of hh's into PT the first one always takes an extremely long time which seems to increase dailey. I think this has to do with importing 400+ files each time I start it up.
solutions?

I delete my hand histories after every session. I figure PT has them for me if I need them. If you don't want to delete them, you could always just create another folder to move them to. I also think there is an option in PT (or maybe somewhere else, can't remember) to delete hand histories after "X" days or something like that.

Yes. If there are less files for PT to sift through, then it wont take as long. Make another folder (maybe called Old HH or something) and move them or just delete them completely.
That is what takes it so long. It has to go through the 400+ files that are in there and look for a new file. After it has the "new" files identified, it is much quicker. By moving all of those "old" files out of there, it makes the initial PT search much quicker.
