Default 5/10 heads up

Opponent was playing really tight/solid when it was 6-handed and has just started opening up the past few hands when it became heads up. I think he is a good player, certainly a winning player.

Do you think a decent winning player will call you with anything you beat?

I would just call. Pick off worst aces and bluffs and don't pay off bigger hands.

the only hands villain would even contemplate folding that hero doesn't beat/chop with that would even contemplate a fold are AK/AT. obviously villain folds no boat or broadway. so i think pushing as a bluff for the other half of the pot (folding out an A) isn't worth the risk.

i think hero played the hand just fine, and i like a river check-call as it keeps from being put to a tough decision.

True
But I also think its very standard either to check/call river or bet out river since it went check/check on the turn. Push seems very bad.

I just couldn't see him checking behind on the turn with AK/AT and all those draws on board. I could very easily have QQ/JJ/AQ and he didn't seem like the type of player who'd give a free card on that board.

In the actual hand I just called and split with AQ, but I don't know if I should have found an all-in or not.
