Default 86s in the CO

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $2.
5 folds, MP3 calls, Hero (poster) checks, Button raises, 2 folds, MP3 calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
MP3 checks, Hero checks, Button bets, MP3 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets, Button calls, MP3 folds.

River: (7.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: 7.25 BB

Check raising two players on the flop didnt seem right. Betting didn't seem right either. On the turn, I still don't know if a bet is right but I did it anyway. Then I fold the river.

I should've folded preflop but since I put myself in this situation anyway, how do I play this?

How about folding preflop? You're out of position--with a very marginal hand--against a raiser. Play this cheaply. Check all streets if possible.

This is an easy preflop call IMO.

dont fold pf, since it was raised after you checked and there are a few players, paying $2 more for your suited 1 gapper is fine. I lead the flop and go from there, since our bet might let button raise and knock out BB, and then it's a raise to the finish between our pair and his overs.

Must be an error in the converter.

I check/folded the river.

You should fold on the flop. Maybe if this was much more multiway you can call, but not against a raiser and one caller. Flop is hard without reads, but if your going to continue, you have to do something now, either bet out (better) or check raise (umm). You can't just call here.

I'm sorry, that first sentence should say you should fold pre-flop. My bad.

This is a reasonable, if marginal, preflop call. I think I like this hand.

No, it's not a terrible pre-flop call, but I would still lean towards folding. This doesn't really play all that well here, but it is a close decision.

I'd call down to 45s here. We're getting 6.5:1. This is a very very easy call. I will also defend vs a CO/Button raise in the BB with 86s.
