Default Tracking B&M session results. What is YOUR method?

This is a two part post.

Part 1:
What are people out there using to track their B&M results? I used to use a crude Excel spreadsheet (on a Palm device) and may go back to it. I just wanted to see if there were any better ideas out there (surely there are).

Part 2:
What data do you track from your sessions? I imagine the following data would be of interest to track. (I included "soft" data that one would have to evaluate and quantify themselves).

HARD FACTS
- casino
- date
- game/limit
- start/end time -- total hrs played
- net $

"SOFT" FACTS
- mood
- energy/alertness level

Please add any additional data elements you can think of.

Get StatKing you can input your B&M results and import your online sessions too.

I also add comments on the game, LP, LA, etc.

1. I have started using Card Player's Poker Analyst system on their website. It provides for inclusion of all of the basic information, but also allows you to write out session notes. I don't think you have much ability to manipulate the data though (I use excel for that).

2. I generally include how many players were at the table and who they were (I play with the same people a lot). When I write session notes I try to indicate whether I think I played well and whether I think I got lucky. There are some sessions where I know I played well but the cards were against me (and others were I played terribly but got saved by a nice run of cards). I play a lot of NL, so I try to put in my session notes whether any wins or losses were as a result of a few key hands or whether I grinded (up or down).

2. If you want I'll forward you a copy.

Nope. I bounce around among $2/4 HE, $4/8 HE, $1-2 NLHE sometimes $2/4 Omaha or $1/3 stud. I try to track my tokes and drink expenditures. That's a lot to remember, even if the drive home is 1.5 hours.
