99 hand - Did I misplay this.....
Ok,
BB is unknown. Has been at the table for a couple of orbits - has done nothing remarkable. CO is loose aggressive preflop (about 35/20) and decent aggressive postflop, especially with position. I am dealt 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the button. Folded to CO who raises, I 3 bet. BB calls and CO calls. 3 to the flop (9sb) - J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] BB bets, CO raises, I call, BB 3 bets, CO calls, I call. 3 to the turn (9bb) - 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB bets, CO calls, I call. 3 to the river - (12bb) - T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] BB bets, CO folds, I ???? What do you do different - 3 bet the flop? fold the turn? |

Re: 99 hand - Did I misplay this.....
i feel like the way BB played this hand (calling 2 cold in BB, bet/3betting the flop) you're going to see something that beats your 9's a large % of the time. if BB was betting a straight or flush draw on the flop, it looks like it came in on the turn. I might be able to find a fold there, but usually i call down like a phish and lose here.

If CO had folded, i had called the turn and folded to a riverbet ("typical" player doesn't 3-bet the flop with anything less than 99 when facing 2 players. Not even once in eleven times i believe) ps. i see your read still is marked as an unknown. Then call the river, but i think its still pretty close |

Fold the flop. If CO led the flop I might raise, but with a bet and a raise you're beat already most times. If you are ahead, it isn't by much, as that flush draw looks like it connected with somebody. You're behind to a FD w/ overcards--pick a better spot IMO.
