Clarkmeister at the Commerce 9/18
My table image is sort of "the retarded guy who is losing a lot of money." Villain is "the more retarded guy losing even more money."
I'm in the BB with red T4o one limper to the villain who overlimps. SB folds. I check. Flop is ATx, all spades. Checked around. Turn is a red 5. I bet limper folds, villain calls. River is the 9 of spades. Clark him? |

The chance you could get a better 10 or even a really weakly played A is so valuable here I think Clark is in order.

Re: Clarkmeister at the Commerce 9/18
I've always assumed clarkmeister is a value bet far more than it is a bluff to get better hands to fold. I dunno if you can get him to fold a better hand anyway, he is retarded after all. If you think you can value bet against a worse hand, then go for it, but I think he's going to fold the river with a worse hand and check through anything that you beat, and likewise probably check through a lot of hands that beat you.

And they will pride themselves on their "tough" laydown of middle pair and even top pair on occasion. |

Re: Clarkmeister at the Commerce 9/18
Entity made a post about it some months ago explaining that the value bet against worse hands was far more important than the bluff big fold potential, that's what I was trying to explain, since nobody respects anything. But in this situation I don't see many worse hands calling.
