agreed. i either check/fold or bet out on the turn depending on my read. calling seems out of the question. The river bet looks pretty defensive and against a min raise you were righ to throw it away. If you choose to check/ call on the turn then you should have check/called on the river in my opinion. That bet doesnt work because its so unlikely to nine helped you any and there is little chance you played a two pair or a set on the flop in this fasion so he is not going to lay it down.

Your blocking bets has to look like value bets. If you're going to block, make it bigger.

Folding the turn to that wimpy bet is out of the question without a special read. Anyway, this guy seems to bet small. Check calling the river would probably be fine.
