Default King -Ten - 10-20 hand at the CNE

Unusually tight 10-20 game at the CNE. Villian is a decent player but too passive IMHO.

Please comment on all streets especially the turn.

Folded to villian in MP, villian raises, button calls, I call with KT off in the BB.

Flop comes K 3 7, two spades. I check, villian bets , button folds , I raise , villian three bets , I call.

Turn is a T of spades. I bet, villian raises. I call.
River is J of clubs. Villian bets I call.

I think I'm betting the river. But I can't fold to a raise so I'd buy check-call is better. It would be a damn shame if it was checked through though.

I reraise the turn. You've cracked his AA or AK. If he 4 bets, put your brakes on, you are facing a likely flush.

If no 4 bet, I bet the river.

I would call the flop, checkraise the turn, and consider checkraising the river depending on the opponent.

I would also consider firing those cool wrist-rockets you have.

I think this line has much too high a risk of missing bets against a passive opponent.

Passive opponents in live games at this level will check behind the turn quite often.

I 3-bet the turn. by raising your flop c/r, he says he's made his hand on the flop, and now that you have top two, you are likely to be best here. if the K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is out or in your hand, I feel even better. if he caps the turn, you can c/c the river.

I guess no one is advocating check folding the river which is what I was unsure about. Normally I wouldnt do this but this table was so tight and passive the I new I had 4 outs MAX on the turn. The three bet on the flop meant KK or a flush draw ..maybe AK or AA ( I know its weak but that was just the type of game it was) I was 95% sure he had the flush on the turn but I wanted to see it on the river. He tabled QJ spades. Thanks for the input.
