Could've been a steal raise, aight? Any read on the villain - he might've hit a set and waited to raise the turn or he has an overpair. In case of an overpair, your pair is probably better since he would've capped preflop with KK or AA (well of course it might be correct to call in HU situation - aight?).

Looks like a semibluff to me, anyway, maybe he has like 55 or something - 3bet and if he caps, call down ?

Any reads on the villain ?

Yea, that'd seem like a right thing to do. He might be holding TPTK or something as well.

I d go for it. A set is the only thing you have to fear and he might think you missed this raggy board and just wants to push you off your hand.

The only thing I'm worried about is a set.

I know from you guys that there's a lot of bluffing etc. on the turn at $10/20 as opposed to $5/10 and he might have something like A8 or A6, therefore 3-bet.

I don't 3-bet on this board. I don't think a pair+draw is that likely. not many players raise with baby cards like that. I think you're usually against 2 big diamonds, JJ-99, a set, or AA-KK. I think 2 big diamonds bets the river so you don't gain anything by 3-betting. the worst part is you lose a bet against JJ-99. I hate when he has 87 and takes his free showdown, but as I said I don't see that happening very often.

how often do we think he has top pair? I don't know how often a random opponent raises teh turn for a free shwodown here. I don't think that often

I hate it too though. calling seems weak but I don't love 3-betting. this is a very read-based situation.
