I'm not gonna lie to you - I don't believe it's rigged -

but these days, given the choice of the two overcards or the pocket pair, I'm more likely to do the two overcards these days -

This player undoubtedly saves himself a ton of money if he folds every hand. So this is a pretty good play for him.
