Well we are clearly folding the turn, but I don't like the check/call on the flop. Do something, use your creative juices. Or be dull and lead. It doesn't matter as long as it's not check/call.

If I bet i'm likely trapping the whole field for two and building a huge pot when everyone's probably drawing to beat me. My flop plan was to check/call the flop and check-raise the turn if a non-heart fell.

If everyone is drawing to beat you, build that pot up. Until I'm shown you are behind, I'm building that sucker.

3-bet preflop. Raise on the flop. Sure, anyone with a heart or an ace is at least seeing the turn, so charge them to draw out on you. You can check/fold or bet/fold the turn.. this play I always mix up so I don't get autobet on the turn and run over by a bluff.

That's profitable, but it's more profitable to wait until the turn here, I think. SSH discusses this sort of situation.

SSH gets thrown out a lot in 6max. It's not more profitable to wait because you likely won't get the action you want on a blank turn. You can earn more by pumping the flop and betting out the turn.

Can someone go into more detail? This hand seems very difficult to me, and everyone seems to think it's a pretty straight forward thing.

It seems to me that waiting until the turn doesn't win me as many pots or as big pots, but it does maximize my EV. Raising the turn puts anyone with a flush draw into a dually unprofitable situation.
