Re: Anyone push this? 22 PP
I think I pass on this. I'd rather push any two from button or SB than this here. I wait.

Re: Anyone push this? 22 PP
Do you have a read on Joey and have you pushed at all yet? You have the other three players after him covered so you should have some good FE against them.
I probably push this about 50% of the time and more if the blinds go up in the next five hands. As an aside, we played together a couple times today and it certainly seems that you aren't pushing enough. |

7x BB, A6s 2 off the button... Interesting.
I push here, and I think it's good, but it should be close. |

Re: Anyone push this? 22 PP
I also felt this was very close.
I havn't had the chance to push much, alot of minraisers and callers in EP-MP when I'm in the SB etc, so I am not getting much opportunities here since the opponents are pretty loose preflop and calls alot, even at this blindlevel. This leans me towards pushing. On the other hand I might get called here with A7o or 22 which leans this toward a fold. Even though I have played what looks like very tight I don't think my opponents cares about my tableimage here. I ended up folding this hand, but I also felt it was very very close which is why I had to post it. Just want to make sure this isn't obvious. |

Re: Anyone push this? 22 PP
Like you said it isn't obvious but given your table image, I would have made a stand. The blinds are going to chop off 45% of your stack in the next two hands.

Re: Anyone push this? 22 PP
I'll pm a folding expert and ask him to have a look at this hand. Even when I put the opponents on loose calling standards (55+, A8+, KJ+) Icm says this is a push.

"The blinds are going to chop off 45% of your stack in the next two hands."
The blinds are 75/150, so he still has FE if he passes on this. I push here. First of all, losing 225 sucks, I'd prefer to stay comfortable. Second, you have ALOT of FE vs the blinds. These are the stacks you want to be pushing against. One of the big stacks has folded. If you fold here you will need to steal twice in the next cycle (you don't want to still be at 1k chips going in to 100/200). If you fold, go through blinds, there's a chance you won't be able to push in LP since it's very possible someone will push ahead of you. This will mean needing to pushing some dodgy in MP or something. Also, with the bigstack right behind you, you usually have less FE which makes a push from sb less attractive. Pushing now gives you more room to breath. |
