Default 43.5k hands, AKs -.35BB/hand

Just wondering if this is a fairly long streak for being in the negatives with a premium hand or just standard variance.

AKs
Hands: 43,513
Times: 128
Win%: 52.34%
W$WSF: 49.17

Thanks for the replies in advance!

Go through the times you hit pairs and you lost. Those are very costly. Make sure you aren't going to showdown UI too often here.

As long as your AKo numbers look reasonable, this is simply a sample size issue.

No, he should still review his hands and post questionable ones here.

nah...AK(o/s) plays itself for the most part. Thats just a bad run - I seen worse.

If you say so good sir.

But wouldn't you hate to find out after 1500 instances that you had a giant leak? Oops, there goes 5 grand

I made a similar post a couple of weeks ago about how I'm doing worse with suited hand than the equivalent unsuited hands (with a couple of exceptions, AJ and AT if I recall).

I got exactly zero responses.

I think part of the problem might be overaggression with flush draws on the flop, calling down flush draws in small pots without odds, etc..

Part of it is just normal variance. Look at how often you've had AKs vs. AKo.

I assure you baron, it is virtually impossible to have a leak with AKs. Basically if you got a leak with AKs, you got a leak everywhere else and it should have become quite apparent by now. In fact I recall a very prolific poster complaining that after A LOT of AKs hand he was still break even. This was quite some time ago, but he was simply told to calm down and accept it as variance. What can ya do?
