Default $50 buy-in $1/$2 NL at Tulalip (Seattle)?

Anyone hear anything about this? There's a blurb in one of the gambling magazines to this effect....Sounds like it might be worth a spin if you can get a stack built up

Is that a $50 Max? That would be tough since any raise of any consequence plus a continuation bet on the flop would pretty much commit your stack. Is this a way for the poker room to have amazing all-in fests like they see on TV, creating more raked hands and dealer tokes? Because the play would make Poker Superstars look conservative...

That's exactly what i'm wondering....If you could get a stack going you'd probably have a decent game with newcomers buying in for maybe even less than 50??? Interesting if nothing else...

Its not going, from what I've seen (wasn't going on Friday or Saturday night this weekend) but from what the floor people have said, they're finding that the lower limit players aren't moving into NL because, hey, they could lose their entire $200 buy-in! (*gasp*)

Its lame, although I give them credit for proposing/thinking about it in response to players (something that Tulalip seems pretty good about, at least when *I* talk to them..)

I'm at Tulalip nearly every Friday, and the $50 game hardly ever goes. It can, if enough people will play it, but most that play no limit do so in the 3-5 blind 100-200 dollar buy in game. They usually have 4 going each friday.

3/5 200max? That sounds absolutely horrible. Tell me again why I'm moving to Seattle...

I'm so spoiled by the 1/3 no-max game at the Wynn in Vegas. Deep-stack cash NL games with average stack at 500-600, full of loose/passive fish. That's a creamdream of a game.
