Default Difference: PP .50/1 (6Max) vs. 1/2 (6Max)?

Other than "I pwn .50/1, 1/2 pwns me", what major differences have any of you who have played both of these limits consistently noticed? While bonus clearing today at 1/2 6M, I finally had my first positive session EVER (and it was +7BB over 500 hands...not exactly crushing the limit.) I have noticed SLIGHTLY more aggro, but there seems to be something more I'm not getting. I have similar stats for both limits (roughly 24/16/3, sample size too small for both limits), but apparently there's something different going on at 1/2. I'm pretty sure it's holes in my play, as opposed to just running bad, too.

What I'm looking for here is general differences between the two limits. Then, I'll take this info, analyze my play, and post specific 1/2 hands I have questions about.

I'm posting this here vs. in HUSH, because we all know that the HUSH crowd doesn't acknowledge the existence of SH below 5/10...hence, I post in the micros.

Never played .5/1 sh, but 1/2 sh was really easy dude.

Your numbers look fine, keep plugging away. You'll win.

But generally, as you move up in limits the play gets a bit more aggressive. More raising with not much, more betting with not much. More pf raises. Isolation is (was) the name of the game there. Also, value betting. Value bet their scrub asses off.

P.S. You suck at poker.

edit- if you want to get to erik's a bit early Saturday, I can (and prolly e too) watch you play if you're concerned.

Sounds like a g00t idea. I could probably use it at this point, anyway. Let me run it by Erik, and I'll get back to you.

k. Erik's pissed at me right now, btw. I made fun of his inability to write sonnets (and my extraordinary abilitiy to write sonnets) and how math is for retards. I think I'll be black booked for two weeks or so.

I'm not worried. He gets mad at me like once a month about random things and then we slober over Diana Krall.

Elvis seems like a cool dude. Certainly is an incredible musician.

But here's all you need to know:
