I had this idea of pretending a small ace with small bets, if someone wonders my small bets. I wanted to see a raise from AQ,AJ,AT and so on. [/ QUOTE ] If that was your plan, then go with it. Villain is doing exactly what you wanted. He might have interpreted your small bet as a weak attempt to pretend you have the A, and now he's trying to bluff you out. He might even all-in bluff the river pretending to have an A or better when he just has a pair or two pair. Or, he may very well have that AQ or AJ you were hoping that he had. So, I think you're best off sticking with your plan by calling the turn raise and then check/calling the river. |

Re: What to do on a turn with three aces and a raise??
Call and then lead river for 1/3rd to 1/2 pot, folding to a raise? He might check a better hand behind, and he's probably not going to raise you with anything less than 8's full unless he's a total moron. This gets you value if you're ahead and prevents you from having to call a big overbet on the river if you're not sure where you're at.

Re: What to do on a turn with three aces and a raise??
Call, check raise river all in unless its a Q or J.
He raised PF, he has an A, he thinks it is the nuts, take his money. |

KK bets again on the river maybe if we just call. I see no particular reason to raise.

Re: What to do on a turn with three aces and a raise??
I think it's unlikely Kings plays it this way. I don't see Kings betting on the river, either. I like calling to bet river, I hate checking. I'm afraid the minraise was an attempt at a cheap showdown.
