Standard TP fold?
MP1 is (I think) a pretty decent, somewhat tricky TAG, capable of semibluff-raising turns.
SB is rockish and has done nothing noteworthy so far. Re: Standard TP fold?
If your reads are correct, I could see a fold here, despite getting 15 to 1. You'll probably have to call at least 1 (possibly 2 or even 3) on the river even if you hit your A or J, and with a 4 straight and 3 flush on the board, I don't think it's worth it.
If you had position, I could see a call, and a river call if it was only one bet to you if you hit an A or J. But I think this is a fold. |

I think the fold is fine.

Re: Standard TP fold?
When a rock calls 2 on the flop and throws in 3 on a check raise, I think I'd fold too.

unless your reads are weak, it's a fold.

Why raise the turn? [/ QUOTE ] if he gets raised he can be pretty sure he is far behind and fold? |

[ QUOTE ] Why raise the turn? [/ QUOTE ] if he gets raised he can be pretty sure he is far behind and fold? [/ QUOTE ] Why would you do that when you can get to showdown for the same price, and usually make more when you're ahead? (Guy behind folds for 2 but not for 1 typically, and if the turn bettor is bluffing, he's going to fold to the raise) |

Why raise the turn? [/ QUOTE ] I think hero has to either raise or fold at this point. I think a call would be the wrong move. If you are re-raised you may consider folding. Also if I can get it to heads up I have a better chance of winning. This is a multi-way pot meaning the chance that someone has a made hand is good. I think I probably fold here. |

Re: Standard TP fold?
Folding is good. You know for sure that hitting your J or your A is not enough. Even if you hit your straight you can lose to a higher one, and of course there is always the flush.
MP1 bets into you after you raised him. Even though you say he is tricky I still think that he has made his hand on that turn. Your only out is a 4 which, like mentioned earlier, is still very vulnerable. Even if you hit it you have a good chance of chopping. With implied odds you are able to call but I don't think you can fold anyone so no raise. |
