JJ 6-max
In the spirit of the thread about holding a high pocket pair on an A-high flop:
6-handed, .5/1, Party. Hero has J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in MP. UTG has 5 BBs in his stack. It's only my second orbit and he hasn't done anything particuarly noticeable to me so far other than being typically bad. UTG raises, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG caps. 3 to the flop for 12 SB Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, BB calls, UTG 3-bets, Hero calls, BB calls. Turn (10.5 BB): 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] BB checks, UTG bets, Hero folds. Thoughts? |

Not sure if I like the flop raise. [/ QUOTE ] Me either. But I wanted to put some pressure on his dwindling stack if he had QQ or KK and wanted to play a bit longer. |
