Default I play bad.... A5s vs Turn Donkbet

No real reads on villain. I'm not sure what to do here, but after the hand I felt like I did everything wrong.

Looks like somebody might have caught their ace kicker on the turn. You're getting 4.5:1 on a calldown. Do you think you're good about 20% of the time here. With no reads I'm leaning towards no.

I cannot think of many hands that you beat.
Maybe KK, QK, or split with A8-.
Even if he has really low raising standards like QJ or stuff you are likely behind here and 3 big cards are really scary.

I'd say dump it.

I call. You're often against another ace here who doesn't want you taking a free card. Some players will also semi-bluff here when they pick up a draw. Another option would be to raise and check behind on the river if called and fold if reraised or led into on the river (charging draws more and possibly folding a better hand).

I like the way you played so far, but without a read, I think you should fold. I'm thinking you might have implied odds if you can definitely put villain on two under pair with no Ace, but you can't, and the pot isn't very big anyway. Just give it up.

The preflop raiser is gone though, we're just against the BB here.

Oh I missed that. Makes a fold even easier IMO.

Maybe I've been playing too much 6-max lately, but I find that once it gets heads up this donkbet is very often not an ace here.

Pot isnt that big, and your holding is beating a small percentage of what I can see villan showing down. I really think your looking at two pair. You might be getting close to correct odds to call through but i dont really like it. This hand happens to everyone, not just bad players

I wasn't saying I play bad because of what happened, I was saying I play bad because the I had absolutely no idea what to do and felt like I made a bunch of mistakes.
