Default table changes

OK Guys, a little advice please,,,,,
I'm new to the forum, gotta admit, some interesting reads here. Anyway, decent limit player working up the ladder, strictly live play (Commerce mostly) doing well while increasing bankroll while moving up limits (currently at 20/40) but am confused on the quote / unquote professional opinions on table changes when cards are running bad. Typically I do not like to change often because of the comfort of learning the players, however, sustaining long droughts is not comforting either. Looking for some honest opinions

Why would a deck of cards care which table you are at?

The only reason it vaguely makes sense to table change when you are running bad is that your opponents will tend to play better against you because a) they are winning) and b) you are losing. Also, you may play better if you make a fresh start.

Often these effects are fairly small, and dwarfed by the difference of the skill of the players. So I wouldn't leave a great game for just this reason, although in the Commerce 20-40 it is difficult to go wrong.

thanks Elena,
Kinda the way I thought about it. I see so many players bounce around but I notice that they are generally the unskilled variety. The fresh start thing makes sense when the bad runs affect the way I play though I generally walk away for several orbits to regain my composure to avoid going on tilt. Furthermore I agree for the most part you can't go wrong on the 20 / 40 at Commercejavascript:void(0)
