Default Poker Stars 18 seat tournys verses 27

I have found in my experience (I ussually only play the 5.00 + .50 buy ins) that the 27 seat sngs are much easier to get through then the 18 seaters. Last night, for instance, I kept my eye on the 27 sng tourny that started just around the same time as the 18 SNG I had joined. (This being for Hold'em by the way)

Anyways, by the time my field was narrowed down to 16 players (just two people busted after 1/2 hour) the 27 SNG had 15 players.

I believe that weak players join larger tournys; or perhaps just players play weaker when up against a larger field and therefore are too agressive.

Has anyone found the same to be true? Agree or disagree?
