Default 77 vs tight preflop reraiser

Im quite new to 6max, should i have cr:ed this flop ?

Button is 11/8/2 no reads
CO LPP callingstation however capable of bluff raising in big pots

Party Poker (6 max, 6 handed) $3/$6converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets, Hero calls, CO calls.

Hero.....Bet and fold if button raise?

Checkraise the flop. This is a good board for your hand, and you'd love to knock out CO. If Button 3-bets, I would fold the turn.

I would have bet or raised the flop. There is only one above your pair on the flop, and you have no reason to think you are beat. Not betting out there allows folks to draw for flushes, straights, or just overcards and does not charge them. I would take control of the betting on this hand until someone raised me and showed me the error of my ways. So, yes, the way it played out, I would bet the river. If button raised, with his stats, I think folding would be the best play, although I wonder what hand he would have that he'd like enough to raise on the river having bet the flop and checked the turn. I think you'll most likely see a lower pair here.
