I likely misplayed the turn, but how badly?

No reads except Ive seen villian reraise a few times and take it down uncontested. Calling and pushing the turn seemed like the same thing except I possibly save the last 1200 against a set if the 4th club comes (I figure he checks if he doesnt have a club). My real question is if I can check behind (he took a while to check) or fold after the raise, the more I think about it after the fact its hard to find a large range of hands I beat, just AQ/KQ or lone Ac.
