Default J 9 soooted strikes again

$3/$6 no limit 6 max.
Hero($1400) dealt J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the big blind.
Cutoff raises to $14, SB calls as does hero. Both players have me covered.

Flop:7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, I check. Cutoff bets $40. SB calls $40. I CR raise to $250 straight hoping to take it down right there.(Thoughts)

SB calls $250 making the pot ~$600. Cutoof folds.

Turn:6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks.

What is your play with no reads on the player?

Uh, what? How can Hero not be drawing dead with a paired board. If Villain has FH, what else can Hero catch to win?

i agree with leading into the PFR, i don't like the checkraise cause it gets a gross amount into the pot with a lot of money left behind in your stack and a turn to act on. a lead gives you more information on both CO and SB hands, and gives you a better idea of how to proceed on later streets.
