Default Yet again pushing a marginal hand

$25 PL Omaha Hi/Lo (9 handed)

SB ($18.47)
BB ($10)
UTG ($24.43)
UTG+1 ($25)
MP1 ($24.75)
Hero ($33.70)
LP1 ($18.03)
LP2 ($68.98)
CO ($7.72)
OTB ($24.25)

Preflop: Hero is in MP2 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG calls [$0.25], <font color="#666666">(1 fold)</font>, Hero calls [$0.25], <font color="#FF0000">LP1 raises [$1.35]</font>, <font color="#666666">(3 folds)</font>, SB calls [$1.25], <font color="#666666">(1 fold)</font>, UTG calls [$1.10], <font color="#FF0000">Hero raises [$6.75]</font>, <font color="#FF00FF">LP1 is all-In</font>, <font color="#666666">(1 fold)</font>, UTG calls [$16.68], <font color="#FF00FF">Hero is all-In</font>, <font color="#FF00FF">UTG is all-In</font>

Originally I limped hoping to see a cheap flop but then the raise gave me an opportunity to get HU and my hand will be ahead of anything other then AA + lower card heads up. When a player called LP1s re-re-raise I got a little unhappy because my hand doesn’t play very well 3 way. However I already put in ¼ of my stack so I still think that a call is EV+.

I am not sure that I played it right however SB right before he folds says: "creep in for .25 then that". That almost made this hand worth it.

LP1 was a LAG and was raising some very marginal hands and UTG is a massive calling station (he called the re-re-raise with Js, 7s, 6h, 6c). What do you guys think of my play here?

I agree with your assessment and think you played it fine.

You just need to recognize (which you do I think) that when you are in with AA, another player has a solid hand like AAxx or A23K etc. and someone else has random crap, then you are rarely a big dog or big favorite, but are frequently slightly EV+ getting some pot overlay. So I think it’s a good play, but you need to have correct expectations

That's why I was unhappy about the 3rd player coming along. I would have been much happier about getting HU with the original raiser.
