Default A7o BB, 3-handed.

Stars 6.5 Turbo. 3-handed. Blinds 100/200/25. Starting pot 375.

Button(5975)
SB(4770)
Hero(2755)

Button folds. SB raises to 800. SB was playing reasonably conservatively but made a couple of loose calls early and made this same raise against my blind last orbit, which was the first orbit 3-handed.

I have A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and 2530 chips after posting. I'm thinking about whether to come over the top.

if you decide you want to play this hand it will contain t1075+ t600 = t1675.

but by doing so you are surely pot committing yourself and as a result pushing may be a better option. I can't decide what I would do, but pushing is probably best.

With relatively deep stacks, I don't mind a fold, but pushing is okay too imo.

I concur. In addition, blinds are still relatively small, which makes this a 50/50 decision on which way to go. I don't think either is more correct or more wrong. The one thing to consider is your read. Unfortunately, many times reads are incorrect when you move ITM as villain has "changed gears" to adjust to the new landscape.

Thanks for the responses. I can't remember the protocol for whether you want results or not in this forum, but I pushed. He thought for a while and called with AQo, which held up. I'm unsure if because I would push with a wide range there, I overestimated his, or if he just had a hand this time.
