Default PLO8, Betting on the come

Maybe I'm not such a bad PLO8 player after all.

$400 PL Omaha Hi/Lo
UTG ( $667 ), BUT ( $405.80 ), SB ( $429.50 ),
Hero ( $307.30 )

Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB posts $2.
Hero posts $4.
UTG raises $14, 2 folds, Hero calls $10

Flop: (28.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets $28.50, UTG calls $28.50

Turn: (85.00) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero bets $85, UTG calls $85

River: (254.00) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero is all-In $179.80
UTG calls $179.80

Results in white below:

Hero shows Qd, Kc, Qc, Kd a straight, ten to ace.
UTG shows Jc, 2s, 2c, As two pairs, aces and jacks.

Hero wins $614.60 from the main pot with a straight, ten to ace.
There was no qualifying low hand.

SB: lmao
Hero: it's called betting on the come
SB: its called fishing like a bullXXXX party poker idiot
Hero: no, I read about it on the internet. it's what the pros do
UTG: stfu moron
UTG: go to hell

I like the flop bet, the turn, hmmm that one makes me wonder though, I mean with the ace out and the low coming as well, but you were representing the straight so I guess you gotta keep up the bluff. You got caught with your hand in the cookie jar and got lucky, good hand.

Awesome. Worth so much more than the pot, too... every time you sit down with this player, they're going to focus blind tilt/rage on you. I wish there were a way to even roughly quantify the long-term implied odds involved in this effect.

Great comments, also... no way those will be soon forgotten.

just a guess--UTG = nikii?
