Default Reviewing Hands (88 in CO 7 handed)

Im going back and reviewing hands for the last 2 weeks and this one came up, just looking for opinions. I think its pretty standard until the river.

This was from 2 weeks ago so I dont remember reads ....gotta start taking better notes
SB is 71/12/1.4 only 32 hands, MP2 is
65/6/.7 32 hands.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $2.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero (poster) raises</font>, Button calls, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP2 calls, Hero calls, Button calls.

SB 3-bet, high suited broadway or 99-AA.
MP2 limp then call 2 cold....smallish PP 44-77 maybe, high suited broadway?

Flop: (13 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, Button folds, <font color="#CC3333">SB caps</font>, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

Standard, SB 3 betting pf, leading and capping flop, I have him on an over pair.

MP2 raise leads me to thing 55 or 77 now, still possible JTd or QJd, I think he would have raised anything larger pf.

Turn: (12.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 3-bets</font>, Hero calls, SB calls.

I think MP2 has to have 55 or 77 to donk here. I think SB is afraid of the sets now and is calling down.
The only thing beating me here is 46 or 69, which I just dont see these guys having. I should have capped here, not sure why I didnt. I may have been waiting for a non-diamond, non-broadway to raise the river...should have capped though.

River: (21.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, MP2 calls, Hero???

As far as I'm concerned, that turn card is a blank. You've got top set so I'm capping the turn, especially since it appears as if SB will call another two cold to pad the pot further. Yuck on the river. I think I'd put in a raise and call a 3-bet. With the PF and flop action, I don't put SB on the diamond flush. If he sucked out on the river with QQ, lucky him.

Why can't MP2 have a straight?
Call the river. SB isn't value-betting out of fear his overpair will get checked thru, if ya know what I mean.

No way am I folding this. I'd just call and get hit in the face with diamonds.

I'd call this river, cuz if SB is betting the flush, which is a possibility, it's very likely the nut flush, so he won't be afraid of reraising you...

You really think MP2 has 46 or 69 suited and open limped/cced pf?

It does appear the SB just woke back up on the Qd for flush or set.

Thats exactly what I put sb on...I'm pretty sure he'd lead the turn with QQ

SB has the flush given the turn check (QQ bets the turn)
MP2 has a lower set.

MP2 could have a straight quite easily. 96s/64s is not a fold in a 65 VPIP'ers book. what tells me MP2 does not have a straight is the fact that OP questions the river call (easy call) and yet thinks the turn is an easy cap in hindsight

that's my read.

your PF ranges for your opponents is too narrow.

SBs stats are amazingly LAG. It's very tough to put him on anything since it appears he bets near anything. A 1.4 AF is easy to maintain when you play 17% of your hands, but this guy plays 71% of them. He could have diamonds, QQ, or even a hand like AQ/KQ that he figures is good now that a Q fell. With his LAGish stats, it's not too hard to believe he'd cap a flop with nothing but overcards.
