cold-callin' now, I'm cold-callin' now... (etc.)

Sometimes math is a cruel cruel mistress... or was *I* unfaithful to *her*?

6 folds.

MP2 (solid 19/13 type) raises, hero three-bets, SB (mildly loose) calls.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, MP3 checks, hero bets, SB raises, MP3 calls, hero calls.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [SUCKER CARD] (3 players)
SB bets, MP3 raises, hero calls, SB calls.

River: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [CLOWN CARD] (3 players).

SB bets, MP3 raises, hero vomit-calls, SB calls.

Final Pot:

On reflection I think the place to fold was after MP cold-calls the flop.

i dont see anywhere you can fold postflop... maybe a river fold would be expert, but eff it.

You can't fold this on the flop getting something like 14:1, even if MP turns his set face up. You have 3 outs on the nuts on the turn so you have to see the turn at least just for that. Not to mention you have the backdoor nut flush draw. No way you can fold here. Only place you could fold is the river if you have a very solid read on MP.

Tough beat. After the flop, you played it fine, unfortunately to a nauseating conclusion.

Against this type of pf raiser, this is a must-fold pf, IMO.

The villain has a 13% pre-flop raise and is opening after six folds. Folding AJ would be horrible.

Edit: Eh, "horrible" is overused. Let's say folding here would not be optimal.

Default Its AJo, Barron . . .

If they are suited, I'm with you 100%. But, with a vpip for villian of 19, i gotta muck it here.

its not the 19% that dictates it for me, its the 13%pfr...

13 raises UTG i 3bet AJs from anywhere. he has to be in the CO for me to 3bet w/ AJo.
