Flopped flush, lots of action
Pokerstars .25/.50 (full ring)
First hand at the table, so no reads. I post in CO and pick up 76 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. It's 7-handed at the moment. UTG+1 ($28) makes it $1.50 to go, MP1 calls ($91), and I call ($50). Flop (~$5): Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG+1 bets $3, MP1 calls, I raise to $15, UTG+1 pushes, MP1 pushes, I call. Maybe this hand is too simple. Just wondering if this is an easy call, or if anyone would fold here. MP1's call of the original bet, then push worried me. Could be something like the nut flush, but I see people pull this with the naked A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] all the time. No idea what UTG+1 might have, flush/straight/set/TP/draw all seem possible since he's short stacked. Thoughts? |

Re: Flopped flush, lots of action
You played it perfectly.
You protected your hand of getting outdrawn by K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. and should definatelly call any all ins. The chances of someone else having a higher flush are not high enough not to call unless you know a player well enough to make a read that tells you that he has a high flush. Lots of ppl will go all in with a flush and str8 possibility here. |

Re: Flopped flush, lots of action
Pretty simple, no reason to ever fold here.

I have to agree. Yoy played it like I would. PFR has QQ, caller has AdTx or AdQx.
