How bad was this bluff?
Late stages of a MTT. I am in 5th wih approximately 16,000 with 400/800 blinds. I post my BB and get dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Chip leader with 21,000 (who is a donktastic moron but really lucky) limps UTG. Folded around to me and I make it 4000 to go. UTG calls.
Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I bet 1800 UTG calls. Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I check, UTG bets 1600, I checkraise to 6000. UTG calls. River: Blank I check, UTG bets 1600, I call with A high. How bad was this play? |

Re: How bad was this bluff?
If you're gonna play the hand for a check-raise of a good-chunk of your stack on the turn, you really need to go allin, and that would have been perfectly reasonable.

Re: How bad was this bluff?
Why would you bluff a donkastic moron? Just wait for a hand.
