After trying to convert the hand i now have two questions. first off this isnt a bad beat post, I am just looking for some tips on how to play hands like that where you have an overpair with a rag board and comments on how I played this particular hand, bc as you can prob tell im lost most of the time. and while i was trying to convert this hand i couldn't get it to show the betting during the hand, any idea what i did wrong? thanks

fold to any c/r? that seems alittle weak/predictable.

...where you have raised preflop, and shown strength by betting both the flop and the turn.

I think I would have led the flop for a pot-size bet and I don't think I would have put in that third raise on the turn.

The flop check/call followed by the turn check/raise is an indication of strenght, I think. Unless you have a read on him that he likes to bluff when a potential scare card hits, I'd proceed with caution.

what do you think you are beating after he raises the turn? You have 1 pair and the board is paired. Anyone with a 4 has you killed. You minraise his raise, which is pure cheeze anyway, and he RAISES that. You are crushed, let it go. You've shown strength, he doesn't care, the most reasonable hand to put him on is a set, or at least a naked four. Don't forget he could even have 10 10.

Which is the perfect strategy against weak/predictable opponents.
