Default At What Limits Are There No More Maniacs?

Because I don't want to play that high.

I feel like I make the most money compared to others at my table by isolating maniacs and by taking advantage of normally tight players put on tilt by maniacs continually sucking out. I sometimes run well enough that the maniac decides to bet into and raise everyone except me, which is very amusing.

I've just hit a wall where I have to adjust my play to occasional tables without any opponents who generally call down with any pair and where you no longer have to almost automatically call down for value with top pair no kicker if you get check raised on the flop. Thankfully, you do occasionally see that insane maniac come in and be my personal ATM, but the horribly abysmal players are getting fewer and I run into tables where I make more money saving extra bets rather than extracting extra bets.

So, is there a point where you no longer see maniacs or extreme calling stations? It almost doesn't seem worth playing if I progress that far unless I want to really, really work hard.
