Default Did I extract properly, or would you\'ve done something different?

Relative n00b looking for analysis from much more talented players than I...

------------------------
9-handed NL .10/.25 on FullTilt

Hero has $14.15
Villain has $14.30

MP limps
Villain/SB min-raise to .50 (VERY fishy player; has min-raised w/ K9s from UTG)
Hero has JcTh on BB, calls
MP folds

Flop Kd2cQd
(pot $1.25)
SB checks
Hero bets $1
SB calls

Turn [Kd2sQd] 9c
(pot $3.25)
SB checks
Hero bets $2
SB calls

Flop [Kd2sQd] 9c – 3h
(pot $7.25)
SB goes all-in $10.80
Hero calls

Thoughts?

Results in white below:

Hero shows a K-high straight and wins the pot</font>

Looks fine. Poorly played top two pair on a very drawsy board, but that's his fault. Of course, if he check raises flop for a large amount you're willing to release right? Other than that, no concerns.

Thanks for the input. I figured it was a pretty standard play on my part (and a pretty dumb play on his), but no harm in checking in with those who know...

Oh yeah, definitely. The only raise I would've called on the flop would've been a min-raise to $2, as I'd be getting 4.25-1 on an open-ender with a check-check expected on the turn.

Thanks again.

I don't see anything wrong with this hand.

preflop is obvious

flop bet is good, but only because this hand had very good conditions for a semibluff, namely that the PFR checked and a limp/caller was really the only guy to get through. either the PFR has a big hand (and we kno how rare big hands are) or nothing, so the bluff runs well.

turn bet make $3 or $4. if he has a hand that will call barrel two on the turn here, he likely has between 4-12 outs. don't underbet him here.

I approve of your avatar.

Good point. This also would maximize my earnings if he would've check-folded on the river.

Um seriously, did you extract value properly? You doubled up, not much more you could do is there? The only way to this works out better is if you could both rebuy during the hand and bet more.

You did all you could do to get value here. Surprised he didn't checkraise somewhere along the way with his two pair, at which point you'd have to call with the nuts. I might have bet a little more on the turn because of the two flush on the board.
