Lost with bottom set
400€ 2/4 NLHE,8-handed. Hero has ~450, villian has him covered
Villian in this hand is very decent player, i have him noted somewhat taggish. 3 limpers to the flop, including villian from MP, SB completes, hero checks the bb with 44. FlopPot 20€) K74r Hero bets 14€, villian calls, others fold. TurnPot 44) Q, completing the rainbow Hero bets 35€, villian raises to 100, hero??? I would push in a majority of these bottomtrips situations but if my notes are even remotely correct, villian really cant have anything else than KQo or 77 here, and i really dont like the idea of tag player limping in with KQo when folded to him in MP. Am i just making my decisions hard by overthinking or is there any way i could find out where i stand before all the money is in the middle? |

Re: Lost with bottom set
Is it really this simple of a decision that no-one even bothers to comment? If it is, please tell me the answer too.

Re: Lost with bottom set
I make it $250 straight and push on the river. I think he could have KQ, KJ, K10 as well as 77. Here is a poem to help you remember what to do next time:
When all you can lose is 100 big bets Get your money in when you flop your sets |
