Hmmm. Nice interface on musicplasma.com, but a lot of the references are only vaguely related.
I'd strongly suggest all music guide instead. It's maintained by some very sharp music journalists, it has very extensive coverage, in depth artist, album and song reviews, AND after you search on an album you can scroll down and see: similar artists, influenced by, and followers. Awesome stuff. Folks/albums/comps I've been listening to lately: - Hotel Costes series - Hi-fidelity Lounge series - Fila Brazillia - The Kinks - Paco de Lucia - Seu Jorge - Slightly Stoopid - Astrud Gilberto - King Tubby - and "ultra lounge - the leopard series" kick-ass old school lounge! -dj fooz |

Beth Orton- Galaxy of Emptiness
Trippy song- great when you're wasted and sober. She has a voice similar to Natalie Merchant except she doesn't suck. |
