Default Should I have taken a chance?

Sitting on AJo on the button, 4 players left. 50/100 blinds. I am at a bit over 6000 chips, and the player sitting at the BB is at 1900. I raise 150, everyone folds but the BB. Flop comes KQ9, no flush draw. I bet out 350, he calls again. Turn is a Jh, 2 hearts on the board now. I bet 600...he goes all in.

I folded this hand. With another card to come, I didn't want to chase, especially when I was the chip leader. I'm sure I had a decent chance to take the pot with my outs, but did I make the wrong decision? Should I have attempted to take him out for just a bit more? The possible straights scared me, as well as the QK out there.
