Comparison to Party 2/4

Are there any sites where their 1/2 limit is comparable to party 2/4? I have been playing 1/2 for awhile and being the risk adverse little bitch that I am I haven't moved up in limits. I have a bankroll for up to 5/10, but if I can win more money at 1/2 I'd probably rather stay there....Anyway how Party 2/4 compared to say..AP 1/2, Crypto 1/2 and Paradise 1/2. Thanks in advance.

I haven't played a whole lot of 1/2 at Paradise, but from what I can gather, Party 2/4 is generally a lot tighter and more aggressive. There are still fish to take money from, but you are going to be competing with 3 or 4 other tight and aggressive players at your table to do it. You will also lose the ability to limp a lot of marginally profitable hands in late position since you will probably find it very rare to be involved in a pot that is not raised preflop. Have you played 1/2 at Party? If so, 2/4 is really just a bit tighter, except that most players don't play horribly after the flop.

In general, it is a more difficult game than 1/2.

I have been playing at Party 1/2 and most of the sites out there at the 1/2 level. Obviously, party 1/2 is a lot softer than party 2/4. But I was more so wondering how some of the tighter rooms' 1/2 levels are relative to 2/4. For instance, I was in a pretty TAG, for the level, absolute game today. Would this be relatively comparable to Party 2/4.

It's much softer than AP 1/2, and a bit softer than Crypto 1/2.

Unless things have changed, you can safely jump to Party 2/4 if you are beating AP or Crypto 1/2. Personally, my results have been better at Party 2/4 than at either AP or Crpto's 1/2 full.

Party 2/4 can go either way. There are plenty of easily readable TAGs, and plenty of fish to go with them, so long as you play at peak hours.

This is not true. I see 4 and 5-way pots all the time at Party 2/4 that are not raised pre-flop.
