Default TPTK in a huge pot, how to protect my hand?

only a couple orbits in, so no real reads. neither villan has has 3-bet or capped pre-flop since I sat down.

MP1 has been being LAG-y - seeing 70% of flops, and raising about 10% or so, AF of 2.

CO has been LAG-y as well, but not as loose (seeing 40% of flops), AF of around 1. He's shortstacked.

I really feel like i misplayed this handon every street. Should I have folded pre-flop when it's 2 back to me? Since I didn't, what is my plan from then on? The pot is so big and my position sucks, that I am having a hard time figuring out how to protect my hand. Help.

Party Poker .50/1 (10 handed) converter

The flop action is a bit screwed up. Did you just call the raise? This is an easy value 3-bet.

The rest is standard. If MP1 has 45 then more power to him.

is it ok to 3 bet here? there was a raise from hero (mp1) then the re-raise and cap. i'd be scared of over pair... could you explain why?

Is raising this pre-flop standard? I would have just limped in this position.

Betting the flop with the PF raiser on your left is good, looks like your best option to force some more people out.

When it comes back to you I don't think you will loose any more players, and the board is pretty coordinated. I kind of like your call... topspin, care to explain why you think that's wrong?

I would have played the rest of the hand like you did.

The pot's big, and the shortstack is gonna get his chips in no matter what you do, so there's not much you can do to protect it. Betting out the flop and hoping for the BB to fold.

I'd check/call the river though; if he's playing this aggressively after three-betting preflop he's almost certainly got you beat with a higher pocket pairl.

Oops, sorry, I missed that preflop got raised and capped after hero's raise. Gotten too used to seeing things on color with the converter

Let me try this again ...

Raising preflop is fine. When it's two back to you, I'd fold if you weren't suited, but since you are and the action is already capped, I'd see a flop too.

Leading the flop isn't really protecting anything; the pot is huge. I check planning to raise the inevitable CO bet from the shortstack.

By the way, this new converter works properly with the modified Party HH format so you won't have to manually fix your posts.

thanks for the converter link - that was driving me crazy.

so the plan is to check the flop planing to raise the CO? i still don't think that protects my hand - it would be 2:19.5 back to the field. also, what would i do if MP1 bet and CO raised him? (which is rather likely)
