3/6nl party - black KK on an all spade flop
3/6 nl, 10 handed - Villian (480, and I have him covered) is UTG and limps, 2 more limp. I have black KK in LP and make it 50 to go. Villian calls and 2 fold. (pot $121)
Flop comes 2s 4s 8s. Villian checks, I bet 150, villian mini raises....whats your move? Villian hasnt been out of line, seems standard solid player, though i dont know him well as Ive only played 2 orbits. Any thought are appreciated. Bingo |

Re: 3/6nl party - black KK on an all spade flop
I'd probably push here because you most likely have the best hand or best draw. You're not even that bad vs. a set and only AsQs or AsAx has you killed. Not to mention the fact that this could be QQ-TT, etc...
Have I gotten more aggressive lately? All my posts lately have been to push |

Re: 3/6nl party - black KK on an all spade flop
I always push here if Villian is short enough (i.e. stakes not over 150BB).
You are probably ahead and if not then you will mostly have about 11outs (2Ks, 9spades). There is already approx $425 in the pot with only $330 left uncalled with Villian, better than 2-1. |
