Default Gotta fold the flush 3 handed right?

I have some bonus dollars over at UB so whenever I feel like a change of pace I go over a play the really shorthanded (2-4) 3/6 and 5/10 games. I feel it really helps with my hand reading. Sometimes I know it's right to fold yet I still find myself calling down, just to make sure.

Only have been at the table 3 orbits or so, SB is loose passive. The button has raised every time on the button but did not make a continuation bet the first hand in which I took the pot down by checking to the river with Q8s on a AKxxx board. Seems like he's aggressive preflop but straight forward post flop

UB 3/6 (3 handed)

I have 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the BB,

Button Raises, SB folds, I call

The Flop is T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet, button raises, I 3 bet, Button caps

The turn is a wonderful A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I bet, Button raises, Super Easy fold right?

You're heads-up with only two cards that can beat you, you MUST see a showdown. If you think it's an easy fold then there is no way in hell you should be betting into him on the turn.

I don't see what is so easy about it. I wouldn't fold this.

3rd nuts HU, I'm going to call this down at this point. Button could be doing this with any number of sets/2pair/straight combos on the flop. Check/call from there.

I don't think its a super easy fold, but I dont think its a must call down like everyone is saying either. What does everyon put a straight forward postflop player on here?

I would have check/called the turn

IMO, this is a bad line to take here as many hands are checking behind this turn but will call down.

I respect a lot of your posts, but this statement seems flat wrong to me. How often do you think you will be bluff raised with this board after a flop cap versus the amount of times he checks behind on the turn?

Yeah, good point. Still, I have no idea what to do if I get raised. At 5-1 effective, im not excited about calling down, but I dont want to fold. Im not missing out on 2BBs by check/calling turn, because if he checks behind on the turn I bet the river. I may even check/call the turn, and bet out the river, I dunno. That seems illogical tho.
