Bellagio\'s High Stakes room
During the WSOP I went into the Bellagio's High Stakes room and they were playing HOSE at either $1k/$2k or $4k/$8k (I can't remember) and the players were:
Greenstein Berman Hennigan Hansen They were also playing "props", to get some real gambling done. None of them had a much larger stack than the others. My question is, do they just wait for some rich tourist to come play? Otherwise it seems that they would just be shifting the money around and paying rake. Barry was also talking about how great his book was doing on amazon.com, he said it was #16. |

Re: Bellagio\'s High Stakes room
nope, they tell Hansen "how great he is playing, must be the cards"....then take all his money.
I'm sure some rich tourist get in there and pay their mortgages. $1/2K can't be that much to someone worth $100mm or more. |

Re: Bellagio\'s High Stakes room
Although I'm hardly qualified to comment, I know Greenstein has repeatedly implied that Hansen is a long term loser in the super high limit games. Berman too, I imagine.

Abe Mosseri was also in there playing headsup against some guy I didn't recognize.
