Default So I have some \"old\" baseball cards

I have a few thousand baseball cards from 10 - 20 years ago. I wanted to get an idea as to what some of my good cards are worth. What are some good websites for this?

Check out "Beckett" magazine. I think that's what it's called and that's what it is.

When I was a "kid" I collected a lot of baseball cards. They are from about 1989-1992 mostly and I have several thousand. I wonder if they're worth anything.

You probably think that you have cards that are worth money, but they probably aren't. I used to collect from like 92-97, and most of the cards that were worth value then, are worth like half that now.

Pretty much any baseball cards from about 88 to 95 are completely worthless. This was a time where cards were mass produced to millions of each card.

The only things that are really worth anything anymore are pre-87 cards and post-87 rookies... and even most of those post-87 rookies are worthless.

Starting around 2000ish, many cards started getting serial numbered to assure low production. So anything new without a serial or stated print run is also pretty much worthless.

Very simple answer for you is no... your cards are worthless.

I have a few decent cards about like $5 or so. A Sammy Sosa rookie and a Marc McGwire rookie. Neither are very rare. I used to be really into collecting basketball cards. Used to be heavy into sports. Then got all my cards stolen. All the good ones at least, the ones in the booklet with laminated sleeves and jackets.
