At the Grand, the 1-4-8-8 game is pretty soft. Lots of young people, but watch out for the old guys. They are the regulars and play there everyday. You'll usually have a "Doc" at any one table. There must be 12 old regulars there named Doc. The rake isn't bad and the game is usually beatable. The 6-12 doesn't get up until thurs evening/weekend, which is pretty good. The 10-20 is always running and is a little tougher, and depending on the players (which are mostly regulars) it can be really tight. I've heard and seen the 15-30 (usually always played with a rock) is pretty loose and very aggressive. The NL kicks up on the weekends, but I have no info on this one. Make sure if you go, get a comp before you leave for buffet. Just present your card and they'll give you one. They don't record hours played or anything. Hope this helps. I've heard the Palace Casino has a room now but is small with about 6-8 tables. Grand has 20-25.
